DIRECTIONS TO CRUGSILLICK MANOR




From London take M3 nr Basingstoke J8 take A303 to Exeter (or if heavy traffic an alternative is to turn-off left at roundabout nr Illminster, A358 to Taunton, join M5 at J25) then after Exeter bypass, at top of hill bear left onto A30 signposted Okehampton and Bodmin, (it goes under A38 do not take A38 which goes to Plymouth and is much longer route), continue to Fraddon, then either B3275 (old A39) via Ladock or shortcut cross country route see other map via Grampound Road, cross A390 at Trewithen, then turn left for Tregony, then join A3078 signposted St.Mawes.


From Exeter take A30 off Exeter bypass, signposted Okehampton and Bodmin, continue to Fraddon, then either B3275 (old A39) via Ladock or shortcut cross country via Grampound Road, cross A390 at Trewithen, then turn left for Tregony, then join A3078 signposted St.Mawes.



From Plymouth, take A38 across Tamar Bridge into Cornwall. Proceed on A38 towards Liskard. Do not go into Liskard, but take by-pass signposted Bodmin. At Dobwalls bear left onto A390 to Lostwithiel and St. Austell. Three miles after St. Austell bear left onto B3287 signposted Tregony and St. Mawes (sign now covered).



From Tregony take A3078 for St. Mawes. Do not take the first turning to Veryan at the fork after Harris's Garage, the Esso Service Station. Approximately 4 miles after Tregony you will reach RUANHIGHLANES, a small hamlet. Just under half a mile after the village turn sharp left, signposted Veryan, Portholland and Portloe, there is also a brown "Heritage" sign to Melinsey Mill. You will know when you reach Ruanhighlanes as it is clearly marked with signs.

Crugsillick Manor is 200 yards down the lane on the right hand side. Enter by third white gate over cattle grid.
