MR GORMLESS
Poor Mr Gormless, he's overwhelmed. with time
And nothing in his brain to help him use it.
He's heard of Billy Graham, he's contemplated
crime,
And wondered about love, but didn't use it.
They told him of Descartes and. his "Cogito —
ergo Sum"
But he said he couldn't cope with mathematics
The Thespians got hold of him but found he was
too dumb
To participate in amateur dramatics.
He wondered why he wondered what the world was
all about
So he went to solemn lectures and.on serious
nature rambles
To discover the first causes but they left him
full of doubt
And his body and his mind got entangled in th brambles.
He found it was too tiring
Propping up the bar
And decided he must get back to the norm
By spending all his days polishing his
car
And gives his mind to disposing of his gorm. |
