Watercolour artist Janet Bailey has captured the dream-like quality of a still evening at St Michael's Mount . Janet trained and worked as a ceramic tile decorator and designer in Marlborough, she still accepts commissions in both china painting and watercolours. She now mainly concentrates on Cornish scenes and has recently had a very successful exhibition in Truro. Nowadays she mainly sells her work locally but has exhibited all round Europe. She moved into Cornwall from Gloucestershire in 1975. Later she had an exciting six years sailing the Mediterranean with her husband, Bill, returning some six years ago. Apart from her courses at Crugsillick she currently teaches art in adult education courses and has made a speciality in providing art therapy in residential homes for the elderly.
