We have a full residents license. Our bar is stocked with a selection of soft drinks.local and imported beers, spirits and moderately priced wines.

THE GUEST SITTING ROOM AND DINING ROOM

The guest sitting room has an ingle nook fireplace with a large wood burning stove. This room is also used for guest who wish to have a fireside supper and also as a games room for cards etc.
The present dining room was the old kitchen and has exposed beams and an unusual built in elm corner cupboard. Guest dine together at a communal table but not with the host or hostess; a variety of home-cooked meals are prepared from local ingredients. In season we have a selection of game including venison from the Calke Abbey herd other meats are free range pork and beef and special Church Lane Farm Leg of lamb. Traditional produce is locally grown however our menus do spread beyond the shores of Britain and wide range of wines are stocked to suit the meals we serve.
