Church Lane Farm,Ravenstone nr Leicester provides very comfortable Bed & Breakfast accommodation recommended by the English Tourist Board, Welcome Host and AA. Situated in the middle of England many places of interest are very accessible. Ravenstone Court built in 1711 and sevral other interesting local places to visit.
Ravenstone is on the edge of the Sense Valley Park which is within the new National Forest. Many other country walks are available from the house and dogs may be borrowed and maps provided.
Church Lane Farm is 25 minutes from East Midlands Airport and cars may be left in the yard here. The following are within a quarter to half day visit in time from Ravenstone.
Ashby de la Zouch castle museum and ancient town. Moira blast furnace 19th cent. Also The new National Forest Centre.
Tywcross zoo with the Ty Phoo tea chimps Desford tropical bird garden.
Staunton Harold The Ferrers Art centre, Melbourne Hall and gardens and craft centre.
